Thanksgiving Dinner for Dogs!

Thanksgiving is all about family, including the family dog. Don’t leave them
out of a holiday feast this year. We’ve got a tasty, dog-safe, Thanksgiving
recipe for your pooch for this month’s blog. Let’s get started!

Ingredients

● 3 pounds lean ground turkey
● 1 tbsp. olive oil
● 1.5 cups of UNCOOKED rice
● 2 shredded carrots
● 3 cups chopped spinach
● 1 shredded zucchini

Directions

First, cook the rice by following the directions on the packaging. It should
come out to about three cups after it is cooked.

In a pot over medium heat, pour in the olive oil and brown the turkey,
shredding it as it cooks.

Once the turkey is cooked, reduce heat to low and stir in the rice, carrots,
spinach, and zucchini. Cook on low until the dish is thoroughly warm.
Wait until cool before serving. This dish will last up to five days refrigerated,
or up to three months if frozen.
